The ARC Addington Trust provide grants to relieve situations of financial hardship arising out of and attributable to the Foot and Mouth Disease. Applications are considered for both business and domestic costs.

PARENT PARTNERSHIP SERVICE

West Berkshire Parent Partnership Service provides information, advice and support to parents and carers of children with special educational needs.

We are looking for volunteers to work with parents/carers of children with special educational needs as Individual Parental Supporters. They may be parents of a child with special educational needs, retired people or people with an interest.

They would help parents by:

  • Providing one to one support

  • Providing information

  • Explaining the process of assessment and statementing

  • Accompanying parents to meetings

  • Helping parents to express their views in writing at meetings

  • Helping parents to understand their rights

    We are looking for people with a variety of skills and experience
